On the 30th October 2009 the body of Cpl James Oakland RMP was repatriated from Afghanistan and passed through the town of Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire.  This very sad occasion was attended by 8 members of the branch, together with 27 members of 156 Provost Company.  Additionally members of other branches of the RMPA and other regiments were in attendance with their Standards.  Our thanks go to all who attended and to those members of the local population who also paid their tributes to a fine young N.C.O.
Particular thanks go to Birmingham Central Branch RMPA for the photographs below.
